As it happens, Portland is the home to the Little League World Series of Softball, which is hosted at Alpenrose stadium. Kristin was invited to be a guest player on a team that got to play at Alpenrose stadium to end the season. It was a great experience for her. I even got to umpire. Pretty sure I only blew one call. :-)

Bella Grows
Her name is Bella. Kellen has been consistent with his righteous indignation, and steadfastly calling her Belle.
Here are pictures of Bella at 9 and 10 weeks. She has settled in quite nicely. Still learning the house training though and we are looking forward to when she can sleep through the night.

Stomp Rockets
Kellen got lots of cool presents for his birthday. Among the favorites is Stomp Rockets. Kind of hard to time the photo perfectly, but I'm sure you can get the idea.
Life, Accelerated
Bella joined the Isenhart household on Friday of this week. She is a boxer and is 8 weeks old. She and Kristin seemed to form an instant bond. Kellen loves her too of course but is still figuring out that Bella (or Belle, as he calls her) is still a baby.
May always seems to be the busiest month, and this year was no exception. Kristin had a short break from soccer for the first part of the month but was also busy with softball and girl scouts. She has also been busy with some year-end activities at her school. Last week her music class invited the parents to come see how much they've learned on their instruments. Kristin taught me how to play hot crossed buns and happy birthday on the recorder. We are looking forward to attending 'Portland the Musical' which will be put on by the third grade class during the last week of school. Kristin has been singing in the shower to practice the songs.
Softball wraps up this week. Kristin has games on Monday and Saturday. Her summer soccer program has already started, so she won't be without something to do. :-)
Kellen finished up preschool on Friday. He will miss it. He had lot's of fun there. He is excited to go to kindergarten in the fall. I wonder how long it will take him to stop calling it 'Kristin's school'. He is also looking forward to playing tball and soccer through the parks and rec program this summer.
Last weekend we made a day trip to Canon Beach. The kids, forever living in the moment, declared it 'better than Disney Land'. We actually spent the day with the the same family that gave us the royal tour on our trip to Disney Land.
