We went to a new park today and had lunch there. I think it's called Jenkins Park or
something like that. Kristin and Danelle had been there before for one of Kristin's field trips, but it was a first for Kellen and I. We had a very nice time there. Kellen wanted to do everything that his big sister was doing, including some challenging climbs on the play structure. He surprised us by how much he could do by himself. After lunch and some play time, it was home for Kellen's nap. Kristin and I played catch for a bit in the back yard. She also practiced swinging a nerf-like bat. She was able to make contact a ffew times.
Later in the afternoon, I had a playoff hockey game. Danelle took the kids to watch. I looked like the kids had a good time, though my team didnt win. So no more hockey until next season, which starts next weekend. I'll have to rest up during the off season.
Happy Father's Day to all the Dads reading the blog!
