Kellen has been practicing using scissors lately. He seems to be getting the hang of it. Certainly seems to enjoy it anyway. Danelle volunteers at the school most Wednesdays and brings Kellen with to 'help'. Today, they both had tasks related to using scissors. Sounds like Kellen had a good time with that.
Kristin is in the middle of a geometry unit in her classroom. Today they built various three-dimensional shaps with straws and pipe cleaners. She says they get to bring them home tomorrow. A couple different kinds of pyramids and some other shapes too. I'm excited to see what she made.
We had some snow flurries mixed with ice yesterday evening after the commute, but by morning time the temperature had risen and were back to rain. It's already 51 degrees. Thought we might have gotten a 'sleep in day' the way the local news was playing up the storm, but it was not to be. Oh well.
I'll see if we can get Kristin to pose with one of her 3D shape creations later in the week and post a picture.
