Catching Up

Yesterday we took a family trip to Target. Not terribly exciting, but a good way to get the kids out of the house. After lunch and naps, it was Kristin's turn for swim lessons. Danelle took Kristin while Kellen and I played at home. We did legos and flashcards and mostly just had fun bouncing from one thing to the next while leaving a mess in our wake. After Danelle and got home, I was out the door to hockey. Back in time to help Kristin with her bath and the rest of the evening routine.

This evening we hung out inside the house. Danelle and Kristin played go fish with Little Mermaid cards while Kellen and I played hockey, little people garage, and superman. Kellen is getting good at using the elevator in the little people garage. Danelle also blew some bubbles for the kids. Kellen was a wild man chasing after the bubbles. Kristin read me a book at bedtime called Max Gets Ready, and did a great job with it. She is becoming quite the little reader! It was a nice relaxing evening at home.
