Danelle and Kristin were working on a craft this evening and Kellen was a little too interested in what was going on so he and I headed outside. We still had some light out thanks to daylight savings and the temperature was crisp, but not too cold. Kellen played with his toy lawn mower while I got the garbage and recycling bins ready to take to the curb. After I got the bins to the curb, I realized that there was a little room left in the trash bin, so Kellen helped me fill it with some scraps that are still left over from the flooring project. We must have been taking a long time because Danelle and Kristin eventually came outside to join us. Kristin wanted to help too. Danelle said she hopes that is a good sign for when they are thirteen. Kellen surprised me by being able to throw the scraps into the bin, which is still taller that he is.
Kristin is learning about outer space this week at kindergarten. Kellen's class talked about their eyes today. Kellen also has a new word 'backpack'. He pointed to Kristin's backpack this morning and identified it. Random photo today. This is a close up from a group of pictures of Kellen playing with the train set.
