It was a beautiful couple days here. Tonight after dinner we got out of the house for a couple of errands. We took some things to Goodwill and then went over to Home Depot to pick up some compost for the garden and weed-n-feed for the lawn. Kristin agreed to take three toys to Goodwill. In exchange, she got to pick out something at Goodwill to take home. She picked out a wristband that has a character from one of her books. At Home Depot, the kids enjoyed using the race car shopping cart. Kellen really likes turning the steering wheel and 'driving'.

Yesterday evening seemed to fly by. At least for me. I had a public meeting for one of my projects and didn't get home until about 6:45. The meeting is at a humane society, which is in the neighborhood of my project. 5 more meetings there over the next few months... maybe we'll have a dog by the end of it all.

In the photo... the kids were having a snack before bathtime last night and were honoring the 'no cheese or pepperoni in the living room' rule.

I've been feeling a lot better the last couple of days, but poor Danelle seems to have gotten my cold. Seems to have really set in today. :( I think the kids are pretty well past whatever bug they were fighting. Knock wood.
