Getting Better

Kellen is getting better. The cough is under control for the most part and he seemed to have broken his fever last night around 10pm. He woke up all wet from sweating. So we changed him and his bed and he slept the rest of the night without coughing fits! :) Kellen did have a low grade fever (99.3) fever on and off today and was generally in better spirits. He really perked up tonight. We are happy to see an active Kellen again.

Kristin had a fun day a Kindergarten. They finished up their space unit today and made moon pizzas. These are little personal pizzas with cheese and black olives as craters. Very fun! She brough home her report card today and is doing well in school. Kristin just needs to work on her listening skills at times (she sometimes wants to talk to her friends) and also needs to work on e and u sounds (recognizing them). She also brought home a Solar System book that she wrote about each planet and colored them. That was fun to read. At daycare she filled her sticker chart and got to pick a toy/tricket out of the box. She was so excited and picked an orange ring that is also a compass. Unfortunately it broke on the way home. We will see if we can fix it with our trusty super glue.
